PROTEAN i12 IEF System
The PROTEAN i12 IEF (isoelectric focusing) system is designed to carry out the first dimension (1D) of 2D electrophoresis on immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips. With this system, 1-12 IPG Strips can run simultaneously and there are 7, 11, 13, 17, 18 and 24 cm long focus trays.
Each channel of the IEF system is run independently of each other. Thus, it gives the possibility to run different sample types at the same time in different conditions.
- Optimization time is shortened when different protocols and conditions can be harnessed at the same time.
- Independent harnesses prevent a fault in one instance from affecting other instances.
- New protocol design can be done easily thanks to the touch screen.
